    About Coronavirus COVID-19

     22nd of August 2020

    Dear Patients,

We want to let you know that we are continuing to run our practice as usual, as we have done throughout the entire COVID-19-pandemic.

Entering our rooms, you will notice that we keep social distancing and measure everybody's temperature before entering our rooms.

We are of course equipped with appropriate protection gear including FFP3 masks and gowns where needed and we continually use appropriate hand- and surface sanitizers.

In our Sligo and Galway rooms, for additional safety, we are equipped with air purifiers with the latest HEPA filters as well with Perspex screens on our desks in our Sligo rooms .

Entering our rooms you will have to wear a mask covering your mouth and nose in order to protect yourself and ourselves and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

During these difficult times we intend to continue running our practice, especially as the availability of private neurological outpatient appointments in Ireland has dropped significantly, and also because a lot of public neurological outpatient clinics have been suspended up to now.

If you are a new patient please ask your GP to forward a referral letter to us.

In case of any signs of cough, sore throat and fever and other flu-like symptoms, please (ONLY) phone your GP or call 999 or 112 for further advice and postpone the appointment with us.

Keep safe and with best wishes,

Dr Andreas Jahnke and his team

    Bereavement

    19th of June 2020

    Dear Patients,

Due to a close family bereavement (sadly my mother died very unexpected) I had to travel abroad and returned to Ireland 2 days ago.

Therefore, I am now in self-quarantine at home and will return to my practice on the 2nd of July.

I am very sorry for your inconvenience with e.g. changing or postponing your appointments.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best wishes,

    Dr Andreas Jahnke
